Neil Shulman, MD, is a cardiologist from Emory University who has been successful in numerous endeavors outside of clinical medicine. Neil’s business card lists numerous titles, including, Author, Doctor, Associate Professor at Emory University School of Medicine, Comedian, Architectural Innovator, Brainstormer, Speaker, Planner of Way Too Many Projects at One Time.  

His academic success includes numerous research projects and publications and extensive experience in preventive medicine and patient education, particularly in the area of hypertension and kidney and heart disease. 
 

Neil is known in varying circles throughout the world as an author, speaker and entertainer. He has published seventeen books including Your Body’s Red Light Warning Signals: Medical Tips That May Save Your Life, and Your Body, Your Health: How to Ask Questions, Find Answers, and Work with Your Doctor. He has written, produced and acted in videos and movies, including the major motion picture Doc Hollywood, based on his novel What? Dead Again? He also has been instrumental in creating charitable organizations and serves on the board of the Gesundheit Institute, founded by the real Patch Adams, MD.
