ABA Health Law Section

Health law is a growing field, due to the increasing complexity of medicine and the intersection of healthcare with other sectors such as managed care and the government.  The American Bar Association has a Health Law Section that is dedicated to increasing interest in this field through innovative programs and written information.  This group publishes a bi-monthly newsletter, Health Lawyer, focusing on a wide range of areas in the health law field and offering incisive analysis of key issues.  In addition, the section writes ABA Health eSource, a monthly e-newsletter. Jan Keith Lipes is a painter in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, who previously worked as an emergency physician at Doylestown Hospital. In 1991, after being diagnosed for eight years with multiple sclerosis, Dr. Lipes reached the point of re-prioritizing his life and turned to a career in painting. (more…)

American Physicians Art Association
